If weather is not very good for a walk, don’t stay in a hotel. Visiting a shopping mall can be a good alternative to the city tour – you can watch movies, taste some delicacies, get some souvenirs and just watch people and things around you.

The largest shopping mall in St Petersburg is situated right in the city center next to Moskovsky railway station. First three floors are filled with clothes and shoes shops. Go to the fourth floor if you feel like having a snack or a good breakfast/lunch.

Nevsky Center

Located in the historical building of the 19th century, this shopping mall might be at first hard to recognize. The mall consists of two parts – Stockmann and branded departments. All from food to cosmetics and clothes is there. On the last floor, there is Moskva restaurant.

Together with Galeria these malls are good to visit before your departure from Moskovsky railway station, as they are situated opposite to each other.

Admiral

Apart from shopping and having a cup of coffee there, you can visit an interesting museum and actually “touch” the history of St Petersburg. Petrovskaya Akvatoria represents a miniature of Petersburg of the 18th century. Both kids and adults will enjoy such a trip!

Located in the historical building of the former trading house “Esders and Sheyfals”, this mall first attracts with its modern style and graceful architecture. The place is high-rated, so the prices are. But it’s definitely worth visiting!

One of the oldest shops in St Petersburg that you definitely gonna see during a walking tour along Nevsky prospekt. The mall has all necessary shops, and tourists often get souvenirs there.
